Banner Extreme app for iPhone and iPad
Banner is an LED-matrix-like display with which you can show custom messages. The following items can be shown:
- 5 user-defined messages
- 35 types of symbol characters
- Date (3 formats)
- Time (3 formats)
- Tweet (3 defined feeds based on users timeline or keyword search)
- Music (Artist, Song, Album)
The application has the following settings:
- Scroll speed
- Blink speed
- Landscape-only mode
- Upside-down display
- Mirror display
- Double-tap editing
- Sleep disable
- Character size (3 sizes)
- Element (LED) size (3 sizes)
- Element (LED) shape (6 shapes)
- Element (LED) color (Hue, Saturation)
- Element (LED) color randomization
Tweets will be updated ever minutes or every tweets displayed.
"Banner Free" is a free version with ads; "Banner" and "Banner Extreme" are paid versions with no ad.
"Banner Extreme" has a little bit different from the others on the style and the speed.

Banner Extreme app good for
The big screen of ipad makes more sense than the small screen of iPhone. I would like to have the function that can put a short word in the middle of the screen and it can blink. I will use this app to have fun! Thank you developers!
This is a pretty fun app. I think it would benefit from having smaller text on the iPad. Maybe a choice between 2/3 and 1/2 the current text size.
This is awesome! Ill be using it when Im on the phone and my kids decide to get loud..."Quiet! Im on the phone!" It will definitely grab their attention!
Something I would like to see is the ability to put one, blinking word in the middle of the screen, and perhaps the font size could be adjustable. But, its cool as it is.
This Banner is absolutely great. Easy to use and full of surprises. It truly deserves all five stars. You wont be disappointed.
Cool App, but I wish I could have the option to display each message in a different color. This would be a great update.
Some bad moments
Cant complain too much for a $1 but readability isnt that great no matter which option is selected. Seems its a lot more in focus when its not moving!!! And there isnt an option to have a fixed, non moving message. That would be nice.
Its not bad, but was thinking of using it at a bingo hall, but the ladies wont be able to read that. Ill look for something else that might better suit my needs.
if you screw up and do not have at least one message checked to display, it will open and shut down immediately!
